Hi, my name is Kenechi Franklin Dukor and I am technology and product expert with over 9 years industry and research experience. My experience spans across product management, software engineering, cloud, machine learning, and robotics. Some professional affliations are Motorola Solutions, Digimatix Technologies, Amazon Web Services, Coronation Insurance, Insidatics AI ... and more.
I obtained an M.Sc in robotics at Northeastern University where I worked as a graduate teaching and research assistance under the supervision of Professor Robert Platt's at the Helping Hands Lab. My research here focuses on extending the application of Diffusion-EDFs for robotic manipulation learning to more complex, long-horizon multi-step tasks.
Previously, I received my B.Sc in mechanical engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and completed my undergraduate research under the supervision of Professor Gbeminiyi Sobamowo at the Herzer Research Initiative. Here, I worked on studying the effects of roughness on microfins with varying geometries for different heat transfer applications.
Together with some bright minds, we organise AI Saturdays Lagos (a community-driven initiative) where we offer free classes on data science, machine learning and deep learning for about 12 weeks, every Saturday. We also conduct Africa-centric ML research projects (see some of our papers).
I love nature, arts and music. I play the piano and guitar at home, in church and with friends. In my spare time I travel and take photos of nature. Take a look at some of my works on instagram .
